So, going through the long long list of faults with our new clk230k convertible that I swapped my rusty high milage 210 cdi for.
So far we have identified a faulty roof hinge switch which is on order, a knocking from the back, lots of sprayed over rust and covered up accident damage.
Along with A window regulator that wont normalise (Despite replacing it) and numerous other things.
Although top on our list at the moment is the smell of petrol.
It is very pungent in the boot area, and can still be smelt with the roof down! It has had rear end drivers side damage, and the filler neck isnt central in the hole for it. I suspect the tank itself is damaged, as it can only be smelt when more than a quarter tank is in it.
Any thoughts?
