MOT Insurance

Has anyone had any experience with Merc warranty MOT insurance?

Looks to exclude pretty much everything but has to be tested at a dealers to even be considered.

Part of me thinks they'll find a problem regardless so best to take elsewhere.

Any thoughts?

Can't think you'd need it if serviced and maintained. If it's free I'd have it, if it requires paying for then they can jog on. I've only had great service from main dealers on their MOT's

I think their claim limit is pretty low esp considering its via a dealers. If anything ever comes up on my car thats what the indy is for. As mentioned a well maintained car should not have many issues beyond advisories which are then seen to accordingly

It passed with no advisories. Gutted, fancied a new set of brakes for free
