MOT pass!

[Mercedes 190E]

Took my 300 TE for it's MOT today and it passed!
Advisory on both rear metal brake pipes (Which are being done next week).
One thing-my tester (whom I know well) had to undertake, shall we say, a little "jiggery pokery" to get it through the emissions test. Apparently the HC was a bit high. He said that it could probably be "tuned out". How would one do this on my car?
It is due a service, which I will sort ASAP. (I service my own cars within reason!)

the injectors would prob need a clean at that age so i would use a fuel injector cleaner & the service might well do the job

The MOT tester in Sweden used to take my 300TE out, lock it in second and belt the backside off it,,back into the test station, and a full pass with ease

I usually put inj cleaner in about a week or so before the test, never failed yet even with old fords etc
