I have search for mot failures database with no luck, I have a volvo S60 at the moment looking to change to a E320 but I would like to know what the S60 tends to fail on. Pre-warned is pre-armed. Maybe they have removed the database to stop owners checking out common mot failures.

I'm interested in knowing more about the ML class from 2002. I can't afford a 2005+ model, so think the 2002 may be a good buy. I've read the Parkers review, the whatcar review etc. Are there any other reviews or comparisons about that you can think of?

Otherwise, I'm a newbie (owned a 190E before and my Dad has owned one since new)... so hi there, hopefully I'll be around a bit more...

I decided to look up my old car.. my W124 220CE

Now the interesting thing people should know is that this badge was only produced for 9 months.

Prior to this production run there was a 230CE, after this it got the facelift and became the E 220 coupe

Looking at the stats it looks like many MOT test centres are incapable of identifying the correct year of manufacture.... with errors of a decade in some cases, unless of course a large number of these were purchased but not registered for many years.

I haven't looked but does the chart specifically separate Coupe models, if not the 220 ran right through to 1999 in Indian built cars.

I just tried the link and it didn't work. Could you provide the menu path on the VOSA website eg is it under Publications or Operational Activities. The jargon is a bit baffling to those of us in the Antipodes!
