Who mentioned diesel?

You said the 722.6 box entered service in the 210 in 1999...it didn't...it was there from 1997. Prior to that the 4 speed auto was fitted to the 210...did I mention diesel...no, and except above you didn't either.

The 210 came out in 06-96 and it was one of the first cars with the 722.6 box, it ran in it first form till 06-99 when the face lift came out and was finished in 2002 when the 211 came out, so a total span of 6 years, all very nice cars in my view.

So what did you mean Malc...it's not clear? I though form was a typo of from. I apologise. The car I had on test in 03/96 was a 4 speed box. All my sources suggest 1997 as the introduction year...maybe that's the model year.

It looks clear enough, but wrong on two little points, OK it came out 1995 with the 4 speed box, and there were only the petrol cars fitted with this box. The first diesel started in 06-96 and only came with the 722.6 box, all other models went over to the 722.6 box at the same time by the paper work I have here (dates on WIS papers)
I just mentioned that the face lift came 06-99. the 211 was out in 2001 again I have papers from 09.01 for the 211, though it may not have come to the UK till 2002, just like the early 210's that did not come to the UK at the start.

Sorry just to say the 722.6 made its entry in 06-96 so no car could have had it before that date

on the subject of gearboxes... my gearbox is a little slow at taking 3rd..
and ideas ?
