These days when motor insurance premiums seem to be rocketing
for various reasons (average yearly increase 21% according to the FCA), I’ve just had my like-for-like / no changes renewal quote for 2024-5 and guess WOT? It’s gone DOWN by 6%!
Just over £500 fully comp SD&P including Home Start, Rescue & Recovery, protected NCD (9 years), car hire & legal expenses. And.. on a nearly 20 year-old expensive to repair S-Class at 7k annual miles.
Yes I could.. shop around for even ‘better’ quotes? But given my current Insurer’s superb service (including 3 R&R call outs last year with no hike in premiums) they deserve my loyalty - for now at least.
The Insurer? I can’t promote them here for various reasons. But to give you a clue: think ‘ELVIS’ and I’m sure you’ll work it out .
