I'm selling up and going back to a TR7.
Madness? Ha ha. The SL has been a good challenge and its been fun but its just too damn comfy and bits don't fall off. I have been offered my old TR7V8 back. I restored it back 03 and foolishly sold it. I have always had Triumphs so the SL was a completely different ball game. It was more of a challenge getting an unloved modernish Car back on the road that I knew nothing about. It's all done and sorted now and has been good fun but all good things come to an end.
Thanks to everyone who answered all my questions.
Car will be on sale in the next few days.

Have to admit once my minimum term wuth BMW is complete I intend getting vack into SL territory again.

Probabky a later 350 rather than 500 I had - no sbc no abc to go wrong - though but I also know the AMG will tempt me ...

So good luck but maybe worth hanging around , just in case.

Its gone to a new home in Yorkshire.

Thanks everyone for all your help and assistance during those 2 years.

I'm now back behind the wheel of my old beloved TR7V8. It rattles, leaks and bits will no doubt fall off but once that V8 sings, everything is forgotten. :p

You'll be sorry...:D

But I see your point... as another nut case is looking for a Lotus 23B replica for a track car:D
