MP3s on audio 10

Hi all, does anybody know if my cd player will play mp3 cd's.
I've searched the forum and it probably can't but just want to check.
Is there any after market head units that maintain the steering wheel and dash controls?

Hi,
As far as i,m aware the the Audio 10 won,t play MP3's, it will play "recorded" discs but does have some difficulty. I believe if you have the auto-changer in the boot you can buy an aftermarket changer that will play MP3's via a unit that interfaces with the existing fibre optic cable. Some Alpine head units can interface with an adapter box that will enable continued use of the sterring wheel controls.
But as Malc says if you do a search on the forum this subject has been covered many times and the excepted expert on the subject is Alfie at Command online, keep us updated on what you decide "good luck".
