MPG figures for CLK 230K

I'm averaging 33 mpg in my CLK 230K X reg. Get around 27 around town and to work, so long runs about 37 mpg. However, short runs are the norm. Is this good or can you get more out of it?

That seems to be about right. I'm getting between 23 and 27 on an urban cycle. To be honest i'm happy enough with it a few months ago before my last big service i was getting between 19 and 23. if you do find a way to increase the MPG though please let me know.

I get 25-26 mpg on a normal commute of 13 miles. On a recent trip to Italy I was getting 33-37. I can get 28 on my commute but it involves minimal acceraltion and that's not why I bought the car.
