My car seems to average approx 25 mpg. Does this seem poor ??
I regularly service it with plug, filter, oil, etc.
It has done approx 145k miles but recently seems a bit gutless :-(
The only way to describe it is that it feels like it suffers 'turbo lag' NO TURBE fitted obviously !!!!

It goes OK above 3,500 RPM, but a bit poor below, any suggestions. I have looked for the Mass Airflow Meter - but doesn't seem to have one from what I can see.

Help anyone ....

Your car does not have a Mass Airflow Sensor ,there is a pressure sensor in the throttle body which does the same job.
Regarding your loss of power , has this been a gradual thing, how much oil is the engine using.
One of the first things to look at when throttle lag becomes apparent is the throttle cable condition, often just needs lubrication and adjustment to transform the response.
