murmur on 1983 280 te estate

I've recently brought a 1983 280 TE estate. After some work it drives fine but when It's idling at a stand still it has a little engine murmur that shakes the car every few seconds. Should I be worried about this? Has anyone else had this?
It's had new spark plug cables and distributer cap and all the plugs are fine..

Sounds like it might have a small leak in the exhaust system,well worth checking.
