Hi all,

This is the first posting on MB owners - glad I found the site; it's already answered most of my questions.

I have a new 59 plate C-Class 180k Blue Efficiency and I love it!

I have a DVD which has mp3's on it and I want to use in the COMAND system and burn onto my Music Register. Someone on the forum said it took him about an hour for his music files to transfer, he had over 2GB. I have just over 4GB and would probably take about 2 hours.

Now comes the question...: This is going to sound like a stupid for most readers so I apologise. Can I leave the COMAND system on, without the engine running for those 2 hours? It won't kill the battery would it?

Also, can I transfer WMA files onto the Music Register?

Thanks,

JP

Welcome to the forum
I don't think it will stay on for 2 hours as they usually cut out after an hour to ensure you don't flatten the battery
