my 2001 car has loys of rust clk ?

my 2001 clk has lots of rust around all 4 wheel arches and some scabs on doors etc i have read that this comes with an 8 year paint warrenty is this true ?

This may get attended to by MB but only if the service book is fully stamped by them

It has been said that one service by MB restores the rust thing, but not sure, hopefully some other members can answer this

mine has 4 stamps from independant garages the rest are merc dealer i had it serviced at merc and the last service an indi took mine to merc swindon with only days left on the warranty and they were great only the bumpers bonnet and roof didnt get new paint but ive heard of other guys on here had problems getting it done and had to contribute towards the cost have a look on here and see how your local dealer is and if anyones had a prob with them on the warranty side if your prepared to travel to a dealer thats got good reports id try that its worth taking it in you might get it fixed the worst they can say is no , good luck
