i am trying to sell my 240 its a really nice example 83k amg 17inch rep wheels silver etc etc, non mb owners dont seem to realise how much car they get for the money and it doesnt help when others are selling far below what they are worth. comments ta

Sadly a car is only worth what people are willing to pay for it.

Unfortunately, since the release of the latest C class, the W202 prices have plummeted.

For what you would get for it, it may be better to hang onto it, because for the price that you can sell these for nowadays, you would not be able to get anything out there to match it.

Or, since you have a 2000W C240 you may want to hang on a bit until it starts to become a most sort after vehicle as a 2000w or 2001x is a £210 road tax when a March 1st 2001 C220k lke my w202 is going to cost £415 in road tax (VED)

W202 prices are going to be in the ascendency as W203 is road tax hell....

At the mo, I would value your car at £2995 retail.. £2150 as a top condition trade in. Less if in any way scruffy.
