Navigation screen swap

Hello everyone hope you’re well.
I have recently purchased a 63 reg ML250.
I am looking to swap the navigation screen from my 2013 model for a 2015 model onwards as it is a lot bigger.
I have been comparing the 2013 model and the 2015 model and they have the same plugins on the back. The blue Fakra for the gps and an eight pin plug for power etc.
Has anyone done this or has any information. Thanks for any reply’s

The 2015 model year started to come with NTG5 comand which isnt the same as the NTG 4.5 version in the 2013 car. Yes it might physically fit but CanBus signals are different plus initial startup when coding will fail as there is a check that a part number is valid for the model year. Lastly you wont be able to generate map pin codes as this can only be legitimately done once inital startup has completed.

Hi everyone I’m new to the sat nav that’s built into this ml. I seem to have lost the app logo for the Mercedes apps. It’s the one shaped as a world top right hand side.
Does anyone know how I can retrieve the logo. It’s a w166 4.5 sat nav. Regards jonto53
