Just acquired an ML270, the factory stereo is an Audio 10 BE3100 with 26 iso pins (10+8+8) but my Pioneer stereo only has two ISO plugs (8+8). There’s also another strange plug that doesn’t have a home on my Pioneer stereo that I don’t even know how to describe, so I’ve attached a picture.

Anybody have a clue what they’re for? If they’re needed? How I can hook them up to my stereo?

Hi.
Two of the ISO Plugs are for the Headunit, the other that is a different shape would be for your Steering Wheel Controls - that you will lose the use of.
The other one pictured would be for the CD Changer Optic Connection. Again, you will lose the use of that.

You’ll need to connect the fibre optic (or put a loop on it or you’ll get errors

Thanks for your reply.

I’m not sure what use a ‘CD Changer Optic Connection’ would have had because the original stereo had a tape deck rather than a CD player.

The CD Changer would have been in the Boot or sometimes even in the Cubby Hole. And that is why they installed a CD Changer because the H/U only had a Cassette Player.
