vito 2010 3.0V6TD
hi guys and girls, I REALLY hope that you can all shed some light on this for me! I have a 2010 vito 3.0 V6 TD with the OM642 engine. we`ve been playing silly buggers with it but we`ve hit a brick wall.......need more fuel. had it mapped, tuned etc etc but the rail pressure and injectors are running at 100% capacity. I wanted to know if there was a different nozzle or injector that will go into my engine and deliver more fuel? the same engine is used in SO MANY different models but produces different powers in each application, like the e350 cdi has around 260 bhp, the g class has about 250-260bhp, and there are other models [ML, S,] that all use this engine but produce more bhp. also there is a different code for the engine, mine is the OM642 DE30, but there is an OM642 DE30 LA[or LS] on models from 2009- that seems to deliver more torque and bhp, but none of the sites tell you why? I also know that AMG did a 320 cdi, but cant find the specs for the engine? do any of you know, or know where I can find out, what is different in those engines compared to mine to produce the extra OOOOMPH!? because more than anything I need to know what is different in the fuel system, if they have a higher pressure pump, rail, fuel pressure switch, higher flow rate injectors, or can I change something in the ECU to increase the fuel delivery? don't get me wrong, its running at 100% of the factory settings, but the fuel components must be tested beyond those limits and there must be some sort of tolerance or parameter that's set to keep them well within those limits for reliability, but I`m sure they aren't on a knife edge if you know what I mean. if its safe to have the engine mapped and increase the output by 25%, can I change the factory settings by say, 10% on the fuel pressures and look after them more often, as I do with the oils and filters, and get the extra fuel I need? please please help.......ps. there was a mention that there is a new 3.0 V6 twin turbo diesel engine somewhere.....are they putting it in a van yet...? thanks for reading, hope you can help....

I'm no expert but who did the re-map? I would be talking to them first.
