New brakes but still loud screeching

Hi everyone looking for a bit of help/info i have a 02 ml270 and my local mechanic (mercedes approved) replaced my brake discs callipers and pads (pads now changed twice and got the expensive ones) but there is still a very loud screeching when i brake but only at low speeds. What can be the problem is it the type of discs??

As long as the have been greased correctly then it may go away after a few miles,,my SL did it for 100 miles or so

Hello,

Had a similar problem, I put mercedes pads and discs on which sorted it! I assume its couldn't be the fronts caused the noise?

the pads are ATE or something like that i was told they were the equivalent of the merc ones

They are OE to MB as in the other post do give it a little time

when you have non merc disc/pads it tends to screach... This is a known issue i think
