I'm looking to buy a new Merc and test drove a C class avantgarde
220 diesel estate at the weekend and loved it to bits despite what I have read in this forum about build quality.
However not being a Mercedes owner at present I know little about the development of the car and am wondering if anyone can tell me whether the car is due imminently for any mid life "nip and tucks" as I don't what to buy a model that is going to have a cosmetic job done in a few months time.
Also how old is the diesal engine and are MB developing any replacement soon as the co2 are quite high and it doesnot strike me as being as efficient as say an Audi diesel.
