New CL600

I had a play with the New CL600 £120k worth of car with the AMG kit, to see it and the wonderful shapes and bulges in the wings is really something, this one had the black ebony wood,and infra red camara. The nicest touch was the anologue clock the size of a wristwatch in the center of the dash. though it does not have SBC it does have an advanced disc drying system.
It has double glazed lainated window and inside on the move you hear nothing from the outside world, the special head lining and padding was very well done, even with the slope of the roof,there is plenty of head room in the rear. In all the finish was on a par with the best in the world.

no other manufacturer has anything like it, that i can think of ie. v large, luxury, sports coupe. At least it will depreciate like crazy the first 2-3yrs... it'#l still be v expensive, but maybe down to 50-60k ?? Have you driven the new S class, and if so, did the CL feel very different?

No, have not had a chance this year to drive my friends new S class, I will report back later. You are right when you say that no other maker has one like this. I think it is the first petrol to use the piezo injectors. The sound is like no other,cant desribe it.

YES the new CL is on my list as is the CLS, in 10 years I recon I can get one for £10,000, mind you in 10 years anything with a petrol engine will be banned anyway and we will all be taxed @ £123,554,111,888,888.13p per mile we drive and road tax at £25,000 a month, fuel at £333,000.56p per litre.

Gay Gordon will be retired by then and married to Russell Brand, Bliar Blair will be in prison assuming there’s a place for him which there wont so community service and an ASBO is more likely. Sadly, there's an element of truth in every point (except China, dont think it'll take over the world. It's biggest long-term problem is water, lack of it. Otherwise known as desertification).

political correctness, sod that, I like to offend people, I even go out of my way to offend people, when I meet someone for the first time I tend to shock the bastards, things like, put all immigrants in containers and then push them off a ship somewhere in the Atlantic.
Not everyone would agree this is an ethical thing to do, me I'd help push the container, this kind of conversation with people you don’t know soon removes people from your space quite quickly, those that hang around tend to be the people a good conversation can be had with.

I completely agree, a great car that eventually may join the classic range. However if its fitted with Active Body control - megga headaches. Still Mercedes did it again and came up with a great design.
