My partner picked up her brand spanking new CLC 180K Sports yesterday after being thoroughly peed around by Audi (subject toprevious thread of mine) and have to say it looks superb and the service by Mercedes in Stratford-upon-Avon has been fantastic, they have treated her like royalty so a big thumbs up to them.....

Anyway she had the upgrade that gave electric mirrors, auto wipers and that but it wasn't quite as it seemed. On my E class you can, as I have, select the mirrors to fold on plipping it locked. To me that means you can use the mirror to check traffic on the way out and it is a simple visual check the car has locked as well as obviously giving protection to bumps/knocks.

On the CLC they only fold by prodding the button before exit, no menu option to auto fold, thus defeating the first reason I like them. She is disappointed by this and thinks what is the point of electric folding in this manner as, to be honest, we don't fold them to protect them in about 99.9% of cases really!!!

So (evetually:Oops:) my question, can an indy reprogramme these to auto fold on plipping them locked? Anyone know of somebody in Warwickshire area capable?

If its a CLC then its 2007-2009.

Would like to have a bash at that, never tried a CLC!

Bit far SAM/UNIT to have a try.

It's as I said a brand spanking newbie one, registered last week on a private plate. Great car and does Merc proud despite being built in south america.........

My W204 does and has the Menu option so does not require coding:cool:
