Me -2019 GLC 350 coupe AMG line. Mrs- ford kuga 65 plate awd powershift .
Did you need to reset the ESP warning or did it reset after the steering returned to normal?
The "malfunction" doesn't show on my code reader.
I didn't get any fault codes and I changed all 4 arms and both hub ball joints.

Smart + others :)
The problem occurs when you change one, that is a different length from the others.

That was the problem.
The original arm had been changed on the LHS and the suspension set up to accommodate that, when I changed the RHS because of a worn ball joint the problem occurred. I have now changed the LHS one for the same manufacturer as the RHS (Metzger) and I am waiting to get the suspension reset and get rid of the "ESP Malfunction". The LHS arm was of an indeterminate manufacturer and so caused the problem.

And finally hopefully, changed both lower arms (Metzger) the LHS one which had been changed and was OK had the nut cross threaded on the ball joint, must have used a ****** air gun to do it and took over half an hour to get off!!!
Suspension reset on a 4 wheel laser bed and after about 40KMS the ESP has reset.
Maybe a few days without something else.
