Hi, has anyone bought a new one of these lately if so how good are they on fuel.

i have had 53 reg for 4 years and find fuel consumption excellent,best i've had according to onboard computer is 54mpg on run to east coast,40-50mpg using locally is normal as long as your not to heavy on the pedal.for a large car i find this brilliant.

Mercs tend to run pretty close to the official figures in my experience.
