Now lads. Been the owner of an insignia VX line for last few years. Just been today and bought myself an A180D on a 14. In white. Comes in two weeks. Liked what I saw but I noticed it doesn’t have DRL’s so that’s something I’m gonna look into.

welcome pal , ALL vehicles from 2011 have to have DRL's fitted as standard so somethings wrong if it hasn't got them ??

Havn't yet seen a new shape 'A' class without DRL's. As Bembo say's there has got to be something amiss there

My apologies lads, yeah I meant the led DRL’s, I’d had a long day ha ha, does anyone know what sort of a job it is to retro fit the high performance led headlights in them? I can’t find after market for the A class, lots around for others but none for the A.. thanks for your reply’s

Not difficult to fit, they will just need coding to the car and then there is the purchase price to begin with, can imagine it will be a few hundred pounds each light

Yeah I’m gonna get on the hunt for a pair nice cars arrived. Is it to the dealers for coding I’m guessing?

I wouldn’t say so mate.. this cost 9995. Same spec car with the DRL’s 12995. It surely won’t cost me 3 k to get a set of bi xenons

Don't forget that Xenons need a headlamp washer system to be compliant which will mean a new bumper. I've got a feeling this may be an MOT issue as well?

I can't remember if I could adjust the height on the LED's in my E220d or not, so don't know the rules on that
