New harness but new throttle body?

I've managed to find a relatively(!) cheap, non-biodegradable engine wiring harness, and plan to install it to pre-empt any problems stemming from my 1995-era harness. But do I need to replace the throttle body too, as has been suggested? Or can I get away with rewiring it?
