Hi all, I have had a few mercs now, never thought to join a forum though...tyre pressures have brought me to this point

I am the recent proud 2nd owner of a 06 ML 320 cdi and I am wanting to know what the tyre pressures should be, I have a new set of Michelins 255/50 19, and I am not sure what the correct pressures are. I have looked in the fuel cap, owners manual, Michelins website and nothing. I would gues they should be around 35psi but I would like to be sure.

Any advice would be much appreciated :p

Just saying welcome to the forum. :D:D I thought that they were always inside the fuel filler or on one of the door pillars

Welcome to forum, As Malc already mentioned this should be printed inside the fuel cap or on the driver side door pillar.

If not, I think you are safe to use 35psi on that side tyre but it also depends what loads you ususaly drive with. One thing for sure though, having correct tyre pressure can almost give you 1 - 2mpg more

Thanks for the welcome!

I have to say in all my other cars it was in the filler cap, so I am confused to why it isn't in the ML. It's tyre pressure it really shouldn't be this hard:rolleyes:

Had a look in the handbook, they say to refer to the tyre manufacturer, kwik fit site asks for a reg number and mine failed so I went on autotrader and looked for a few ML's with 19" wheels, there reg's also didn't work.......

Just pop down to your local tyre shop, they should have a chart or should know what it should be
