I have tried the iphone 3G with the HFP bluetooth module and it pairs ok. Once paired it works well as a phone, however, it doesn't download the phone book or other details like that.

There is a bug in the new Iphone S/W version 2 which stops the address book download from working.

Apple have been made aware of it and hopefully they will fix it soon.

Workaround

I have a iPhone 3G it works very well with my W204 and the factory bluetooth, as Alfie said there is a Phonebook upload issue, I came up with my own workaround.

I created vCards for all of my Phonebook entrys which took about half an hour, I then sent the vCards via bluetooth to a Nokia 6300, Paired the 6300 with the cars bluetooth and imported all contacts to the car.

The whole process took around hour and half, I think is well worth the effort, if I want to add any new contacts after the initial upload it will take 5 mins for each.

I done all of on a Mac, I sure in can be done using a PC and windoze
