Hi all. Recently purchased a 2009 Mercedes C250 Cdi which I absolutely love, however it took only 2 weeks into owning until my issues started.

I am by no means a mechanic, hence taking my car to a independent Mercedes specialist.

So far the car has had a new battery and 2 O2 Sensors replaced but the same codes keep coming back along with the engine management light.

Codes are :
P208000 - Temperature Sensor 1 Exhaust System (Cylinder Bank 1) Has a malfunction.
P208064 - Temperature Sensor 1 Exhaust System (Cylinder Bank 1) Has a malfunction. There is an implausible signal

Once the light comes on, the car goes into a limp mode in which it loses substantial power. The mechanic who has been trying to resolve the issue has been good as gold but is unsure on what to do next.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh and the name is Dave, nice to meet you all!

I'm in Broadstairs Kent. I don't mind changing to help get it sorted out to be honest. I do not know if it is a MB Star Computer i'm afraid.
