Hi guys, Baldur here. Sorry for the new volcano, this one is peaceful i promise!

I bought a S211 E270 CDI roughly a year ago.

Used to be a company car I believe in its first 10 years or so.
It's gone 280000 kms and, apart from a blown turbo its still going strong.

I haven't been on forums for about 8-10 years as our local car forum stopped being popular and everything just shifted to Facebook.

I kind of wanted to join because I need some help with fitting the new turbo. It is a hybrid turbo off a OM648. My cars bigger brother.

This will be a rolling project. Bigger injectors and fuel pump are problems for a later date

There is a wealth of knowledge on here. Not familiar with the diesels myself, unfortunately.

Not going to stick tractor tyres & fire breathing exhausts on it & climb some impossible hillsides, are you? (sorry might be a bit stereotypical, there....)
