New member searching for advice on a replacement head unit for ML300

I’m hoping you lovely members might pass on a recommendations for replacing my head unit. There seems to be lots of options on eBay etc, but I’d like to hear from someone who’s already upgraded

I upgrade to Android and I'm happy with results.
If you go that route be sure it's octo core processor,
4 gig of ram,
and 32 gig internal memory.

I've had issues with a dim screen that was unreadable in bright sunlight but my latest instal is fine.

One point is that my new Android 9 can't run the 3D maps on Tom Tom, I'm now on Waze but would prefer to pay up and return to Tom Tom.

This sort of thing should suit, although that's over priced. Closer to £300 would be right. I paid £316.50 incl postage.

There is always a risk with the Chinese stuff, but the ebay protection means they get it back, and don't fall for "we will refund your postage" if the need arises. Keep the unit till the seller provides the return postage label, ebay will refund regardless.

Yeah. Try to find a seller with a UK presence e.g. ErisinEU.
