New Member - W 205 Estate - Adding a front facing Camera

Hi All,

New to the forums so hit to you all, Just purchased a 2019 W205 Estate and was wondering if it is easily possible to add the front facing camers ? I realise I would require a new grille with camera hole, camera & camera Bracket, Has anyong done this mod ? thanks in advance

I imagine the physical fitting would be easy but the software to drive it could be problematic. I have the front facing camera on mine but it is part of the 360° camera system. I doubt that it’s just something you can turn on in Xentry but others may know different.

As above, I don't think the front camera was ever a standalone option, but was part of the 360 camera system. You would probably need to fit the door cameras too and then get it all set up in Star / Xentry. There may be additional parts to the cameras too. You would definitely need new door mirror cases, maybe internals, a few wiring loom extensions perhaps and maybe a control module. Have a look here:

Yup, I mean the 360 camera view is good, but not sure I'd want to part with £2,500+ if I didn't have it. Enjoy your C-Class, the W205 is a very nice car.
