New member with sat nav problem

Hi all, I thought I would join the forum as I have a problem with my sat nav telling me I am miles from my actual location.
I have bought an replacement antenna but don't know where the GPS unit is to plug it into.
I have a 2009 w212 E350 saloon.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
