Hi Just joined and still trying to find my way around this site so if this is the wrong place to introduce myself please forgive! The reason why I joined is I have a 2006 ML 350 Mercedes and there are terrible noises coming from the drive belt / pulleys. The drive belt was replaced 10 000 km's but they fixed something on the Alternator this week.

Welcome i can only say, is you serpentine belt slack ? When your engine is not running see if you can move any of the pulleys. And any movement in any one them could be the problem. You could return it the garage you had the job done for them to re check it.
