Hi all names Paul. Just registered on the forum and after some advice really. I've just part exchanged my Audi A4 plus cash for a Mercedes C220 sport 57 plate. Not actually picked it up yet. Going to get it in the morning from my brothers car sales place.

1. How do I update the sat nav?
2. What card does the card reader take so I can put music onto the hard drive?
3. How does the cd multi changer work?

Cheers guys.

Hi Paul,

Welcome to the Forum. Good choice of car, which I think you will enjoy.

Others will advise on the infotainment, but the owners handbook provides most of the answers you seek.

Hello!

Sat Nav will most likely be a case of buying current disc set. Suggest not from eBay as they're often copies and can end up freezing your Nav unit. Try Comandonline (a forum supporter).

Standard size SD card (I've got a 32 Gb in mine) but if it's like mine, your hard disk drive will only save music from the CDs, not from the card.

Only auto hanger I had was in my CLS, and that was behind a sliding facial in front of the gearstick. If yours is a boot changer, they are usually a case of popping the cartridge out and filling the slides with CDs. If it's the dash-mounted type, then you open the screen (press small silver button lower centre), you'll then see 6 buttons that correspond to disc position - press one, you'll hear a whirring noise, then button goes green and you can insert disc.

Have fun!

Thanks for the info regarding sat nav and entertainment. I'm sure to be back here in the next few days for more info.

Hope I sleep tonight can't stop thinking about picking it up

So picked the motor up. Love everything about it. The drive, the looks, the interior. My only gripe is no Bluetooth audio support for Spotify on my iPhone. If I connect via aux cable will I get control of Spotify via my steering wheel or comand centre controls? I would try it now but aux cable is at work.

Cheers guys

So control of iPhone via comand control isn't an option. Nor is Bluetooth audio. Bit gutted to be honest. Any upgrades or updates that add Bluetooth audio that anyone knows of??

Cheers guys.

Do you have "telephone preparation"? It'll be a cradle or cradle connector in the centre armrest...

Hi and welcome

1. How do I update the sat nav?

You need the update disks, I have some genuine ones, assuming you have COMAND?

2. What card does the card reader take so I can put music onto the hard drive?

You need a PCMCIA adapter
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Adapter-Co...591935&sr=8-2&keywords=pcmcia+sd+card+adapter
3. How does the cd multi changer work?

You load disks individually in the front slot, go to the changer and it will tell you when you can insert a disk, you use the buttons on the right to select which disk

Yeah I have comand.

I have my iPod plugged in the glovebox, I have no other use for it so there it stays, 30Gb totally full of music.

But I can't control my iPod or iPhone with the comand dial. That's why I'm wondering if there have been any firmware updates for Bluetooth audio.

You have to use the plug in the glovebox to get full control, it does integrate well

Oh, I didn't realise that, they changed it later on then. Bit of a bugger :-(

You could always do what I do and leave it on random
