Hello guys & girls,
Picked up a cheap 2008 w204 320cdi recently. Cheap as it's missing a chunk of history and not been loved for 40k. Slowly getting there with it. So far it's had:
Engine flush and filters
New shoes
Front discs/pads
Drop links
Trans service
Some electrics tinkering and led bulbs all round
Fog light unit (hardest job so far )
Logic 7 tweeters
Front bearings
LCI mirrors (just the one actually. Need NS silver lol as the one I found, a MB part has little tabs under the A pillar and doesn't fit.... )
Runs sweet, but there is still a front knock at low speeds. EVERYTHING on the suspension, engine/gbox, drive line etc is tight with no play, but I'm suspecting front ARB bushes could be mugging me off, since the drop links improved things somewhat but not completely. I've potentially resurrected an old thread on ARB bushes, but if anyone sees this and has info on what bushes I need, please do get in touch... I'm thinking it's these?
