Hey everyone.

I just bought a 2004 C220 CDI yesterday. It has an EGR fault but drives like a dream everything works and it’s it really good condition.
Can anyone give me some tips to sort the EGR out. I got the car at an absolute steal so don’t mind sorting the fault on my own or at a garage?

Hi . Not quite sure where the egr valve is on your car . But I've had experience with the egr valves before now . If the access is good . Buy some carburettor cleaner take apart the main body and with a good cleaning it would do the job . You could also try the EGR valve cleaner additives. But that takes time . Hope it helps.
