hi all ... hoping you guys can help me with a few issues on my newly acquired 1995 220e coupe
1st up is the non working heater blower, I've researched how to replace and can do that, but would like to check the fuse 1st if I could find it!! Any ideas?
I know its not in the fuse box and going by all the diagrams and photos I've studied on Google I am stumped!!! In most pics its right there beside the strut with a small plastic cover ..... ive been all over with a torch and cannot locate it

Hi,

apologies for not being able to help with the fuse.

A very nice looking car though, looks to be in good condition too.

So no metal strip fuse in there?

Have you tried on the other side of the car because as they are built primarily as a LHD sometimes they don't swap everything over...???
Ye looking for metal strip fuse .... no sign on either side

Why is there a fuse missing top row number 2?

The blower motors are easier enough to replace, just time consuming. So if you are handy go for it.

I done the one on my W124 years ago, I got a replacement from ECP, it was about 40 pounds at the time and still going fine, the merc bosch ones were near 200.

They are cheaper if they have only mouse wheel as some models have 2 (with ac if I recall).

Good luck and keep us posted.

Is the blower on the same fuse? Have you tried running a separate power feed to the blower motor, to see if it has failed?
