New owner of an old w124

Hi everyone

Im in the UK and recently bought a w124 Coupe 300CE (Diesel with Manual Gearbox). Not sure when the conversion was done but seems like its a one of a kind .

Before the purchase i knew little about this variant i just liked the look so bought it off an auction without seeing it.

Now i have a project on my hands , most bits and bobs work but i have some issues which i will need a hand with sooner or later.

1: Engine will not turn off when key out, vacuum issue or the solenoid that shuts of the fuel supply need to diagnose
2: Driver back window , not responsive so will need some help on how to access the motor and test

Its an old engine so need some guidance on the right oil to use ?

Any serious problems on the diesel engines i should keep an eye on

Welcome The vacuum is used to shut down the engine so any leak ,i mean any leak in the vacuum system will cause it to keep running on. Just keep looking in for up date on this .
