New Parking Restrictions

I believe the details below are correct.......if I am wrong, then corrections welcomed......thanks....

On March 31st 2008, new parking restrictions will come into force.
From that day, amongst other things, traffic wardens will be able to.....
1. Issue fines to owners of cars that are not parked within a certain distance from the kerb......and.....
2. Before that date, if you drove away BEFORE the parking ticket was attached to your car you would escape the fine. After March 31st, that will not be the case. If you drive away they will simply mail it to you for payment. I suspect supported by photographic evidence of your misdemenour.

I believe you also get fined for "not parking within marked bays". One wheel out, or you
overlap into the next bay, collect your fine.

Licence to print money. I agree with some of it, but the councils shouldn't get a penny. All of it should go to something useful, like cancer research. That would make them less keen to collect every minor penny.

wouldn't they have to take 2 photos

to show some elapsed time, or else they could just take pictures of cars driving by and claim they were miles from the kerb. I wouldn't put it past some to do that.....
