New Parts,what alternatives

I realise there is a parts for sale section but what do you guys do if you need new parts?Do go to Mercedes or is there an alternative? Cheers

Depends on what your after. MB still update parts for older models so the MB Parts department is a good place to start. The prices for parts can also be quite reasonable from MB.
When you look at the Russian site and see ~8 different front springs depending upon Vin & Options when aftermarket only have 2 or 3 different you can see the benefits of OE.

I say the same as blobcat, it does depend very much on what you mean by spare parts.

I'm with the last two postings.
I noticed with my 123 how the price of bits lowered as the car aged. The MB dealerships have lots of records of your own car and can usually get you the exact piece required.
