I've seen pics of the talked about new S class due later this year. Slightly disappointed or more precisely confused.

The dashboard arrangement assembles so much to the current BMW 7 series, that you can help wonder where MB's flair has gone.

Note the fly-by-wire auto shift also in the new ML.

Perhaps they have noticed that the present 7 series outsells the S classs in a number of important markets (including Germany)?
Auto car also had the photographs - the boot lid in particular also bears a striking resemblance to the 7 series.

Besides Germany, what other important market. would have thought the US was the biggest market by far, followed by Japan. UK. France (leaving Germany asside).

In any case, vehicle numbers, near the end of there like always declines
