hello mb folks....

i'm in the process of speccing an slk 350 for sept 1st delivery and i need to get an expert opinion, not just the salemans one!!

what does anyone think of the airscarf system?? is it worth 650 pounds? it can only be ordered with heated leather seats...

additionally is the 710 pounds extra for the command system worth it over the standard CD sat nav?

just how modular is it? what features does it offer that the CD doesn't have (apart from the map view?)

i'm not sure what the dvd will be used for (playing finding nemo in traffic maybe??)

why can't i add the tv tuner option found on other command systems - which might be useful??

finally: the additional climate control thingy .... what does this offer for 425 that the standard one doesn't????

any tips or hints for a potential purchaser?

thanks in advance for this info!!!

SLK spec

Sept 1st is good, I am expecting in December, though it may come sooner because the waiting list is already 18mths and MB want to reduce it.
Anyway, I am getting airscarf, even though it costs what it does, because it should be fine and a strong selling point when that time comes.
As for Sat nav, I'm not going to bother.
Climate control, not sure what is included without this option. We do get Aircon, so I think this is some of the Autoaircon features, not sure.

There is a full SLK manual on the net, at the following address, on the button Manuel d'utilisation interactif en anglais. It has lots of goodies that should answer some of your questions.
