Hi my first post!!
I have been reading alot of the Threads on Forums and you guys love your "stars" and are really tech. minded which I hope will help me.
The first MB saw was my old bosses 190E Red with Zender Kit and AMGs on back in 1985 (New Style at the time) We then took in DTM Racing all over Europe for the next few years Those Evo2's made noises I will never forget!!
And so I bought my first merc March this year and love it to bits!!( hopefully post some pics soon)
Spent some money on it and really happy I do have some mech knowledge but pretty basic but I am getting there!
I have a recent problem about my door sills in the fact they are poor condition the aluminium strips have been removed and let down the interior.
I have seen the door protectors on later cars and the SL'S ( polished with MB engraved ) and try to get to fit but no joy.
I contacted guy on ebay 4 months now and ask him to make some but not through the systems sent cheque for £60 and numerous emails no sign as yet!!!!
The prob is the lengh 105cm pretty long as I want to mount inside the sill.
I have checked out ebay and even the German styling sites.
Help does anyone know someone reliable to make these or any other ideas?????
