How did you get it to pass?

Purchased a Gunson Gas Tester and went to work on the 3mm adjuster for the mixture ..now 1.9 co -was 13 co

lf this was your 260E, even with a catalytic converter it should fall in the 3.5% CO 1200ppm range due to age.

Only changes l can see were 24th June 2025 regards emmisions refer to newer diesel cars and hybrids.

As above, cars registered after 1st January 2013, so you will have squeaked through being a 2012 car with the older smoke test

It’s a fast pass which mean it’s well under the requirements. Fast pass means thy there is no point doing it 6 times for a closer pass.

I’m just dubious about AI -ish videos with some American dude talking about UK MOT tests - not exactly excellent source material. Is there any more evidence?
