Dear All,

I have a 1988 Mercedes 300SL (R107) and would like to replace the wheel bolts, as over time the originals have corroded / gone rusty. The overall length of each wheel bolt is 95.5mm (approx 3 3/4").

I called into my local Mercedes dealership today, and they tell me that the original 'extended' type wheel bolts have since been replaced by much shorter ones. The problem is, that the shorter bolts disappear deep into the holes in the wheels, which changes the appearance of them totally (the holes then look a little purpose-less!).

I see that Chrome-plated replacement wheel bolts (of the original dimensions) are available for this model from the US, but I require the standard flat silver/alloy finish that the wheel bolts would have originally had when new.

Does anyone here have any idea where I could obtain these?

Regards to all,

Steve
