I need to get the rims on my SL powder coated and am wondering what to go for. I like the original look but the restorers will only give 6 month guarantee.

In reality a fresh powder coat will last two to three years, that is in my experience anyway

I love them. You also get to see more of the rotor and calipers.

Tend to agree, now Red wheels, that's a different thing altogether.

Changing the wheels on the S500 made it look shorter and more squat - also left very little room in the wheel arches

I like them, so a thumbs up from me. I think that only black, or very dark colours can carry off black wheels.
