Depending on whether it's an m111 engine (red top) or m271 engine (timing chains and gears around 80k miles)

Its m271 it's done 100k.its Got alot of history with it but nothing about chain been done.

If it doesn't rattle at startup, then it must have been done already!

No rattles or anything. The cars been having 2 oil changes done every year.so il keep that up

That may be why it has lasted this long if it hasn't had it done. That extends the life of 651 chains a lot as well.

As above listen for rattling first start of the day. If it starts doing it stop using the car as soon as possible.
If it doesn't have oil blockers fitted to the cam magnets then fit them - not expensive and easy to do yourself.
If it's an auto do regular gearbox oil and filter changes. MB touted these gearboxes as being sealed for life but to them life meant until it broke! Every 40k miles should keep it all running sweet.
Serpentine belt pulleys and tensioners can rattle after a while - easy fix and cheap to do.
Other than that just drive it and enjoy it.
