NEWBIE - help!! Low Fuel Pressure/ Irregular Starting Problems

Hi, sorry if this has already been covered elsewhere and iv missed it. I have a Mercedes ML270 on an 02 plate, diesel auto. I am having problems starting it in the mornings, it is fine for the rest of the day once it has been run for a short while. The AA man tells me that there is low fuel pressure too. Any ideas and will this be expensive to sort?! Thanks.

Sounds like a air leak on one of the plastic fuel pipes letting air in or a injector leaking by into the spill pipe,

As S-A-M an air leak on a fuel pipe, you can probably see air bubbles in one of the pipes

Thank you!! how hard to fix is this? I have a receipt for problems with leaky injectors from just before i bought the car, I guess this is a common fault? Thanks again.
