Newbie here but confused

Hello I have just recently purchased my first ever Mercedes!! second hand, Mercedes 2011 C25O cdi blue efficiency sport (wish I had done so before.
I have a query I was looking at the fuse sections and looked at where my fuses should be, the bonnet and the boot fine they are there but in the cab, behind the drivers side panel nothing and on the passenger side the panel says air bag on it, does this mean I have no fuses inside the cab, I was looking as I wanted to connect my dash cam.

Fuses often in the end panel of the dash - open the door and use a trim tool to pop the panel off. Should be listed in your owners manual where all the fuse boxes are

After a good search online and also the car I found 2 fuse box`s, one in the engine bay and one in the boot, I have not got one inside the cabin end of dash, checked and nothing. So what I did was feed my two cables from the back of the engine fuse box attached with tape to a very long screwdriver through into the back of the dash. With the end panel (where some cars have fuses) off I could see the screw driver with a light shining through the hole and hook the screw driver with wire to release my cables. I earthed one and then piggybacked a fuse and its all working fine.. Thank you for your help
