Hi, nice to meet you all, I'm hoping I don't need to use this too much to solve problems! Already have the intermittent ABS/ESP issue and only bought it early April ...new wheel speed sensors please...

check your battery voltage

I had the same problem but I'm covered with merc mobilovan (v class).... turns out that if voltage (engine off) is below 12v, mine was 11.6v, the systems start misbehaving..... especially the ABS & traction system stops reading the sensors properly.... new battery and problem solved

The low volt affected ABS and more frighteningly the cruise system... it suddenly red-lines and a couple of times I nearly wrote off the car in front.
NOTE the cruise control was turned OFF at the time (in town traffic)

The fault(s) cause was only identified with a live-recording OBD monitor.... star unit only found the low battery NOT the problems cause
